What You Should Do:

If you have a Graco MetroLite or Quattro Tour stroller, check the list of model numbers on the next page to see if yours has been recalled. If so, stop using it immediately, and visit Graco’s website or call Graco at for a free repair kit. However, it is safe to continue using it as a travel system because the space gap isn’t present when the infant car seat is in place.

You should also follow the CPSC’s new stroller safety alert guidelines. Be sure to secure your infant in the stroller properly at all times. The CPSC warns that serious injury or death can occur in strollers if children are not properly restrained.

As with the Graco recall, if not secured, babies can slip down between the stroller tray and seat bottom getting their head and neck entrapped, posing a strangulation risk. This risk is especially high for children under 12 months old. Even babies only a few weeks old can become trapped and strangle in a stroller according to the CPSC.
